As part of the many ways Preston celebrates achievement, the Robotics team and their coach, Mr Kingsley Ekanem, who at their first outing came 5th out of 47 notable schools in Nigeria at the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE competition in Abuja recently, were on Tuesday, 7th March 2023 celebrated during assembly. Members of the team were presented with certificates and decorated with medals.
Preston International School held its maiden scholarship entrance exam in various centres across the country on the 4th of March, 2023.

The 16th Inter-house sports competition at Preston International school took place at the school's sports complex on Friday 17th February, 2023. It was a very successful and well organized event which was chaired by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Ondo State, Otunba Dele Ologun.
It was yet another feather in Preston's cap when our robotics team bagged 5th position out of the 47 schools in our first participation in this year's First Lego League Challenge organised by Coderina held on the 14th of February, 2022 in Abuja, FCT.
We value reward as an integral part of motivation at Preston International School. On this note, The 1st Term Awards ceremony held in the School Chapel, on the 20th of January 2023 was aimed at recognising students who have gone the extra mile to put their names on outstanding records.
As part of the directors’ commitment to celebrating achievement and rewarding diligence, resilience and excellence, the school choir and artistes (staff and students) who participated in the 2022 Christmas Concert were on Thursday, 9th February 2022 treated to a wonderful reception at the whitehouse.
It was such a great way to kick-start the new term with the theme "Back to Basics" as all Preston's staff members (teaching and non-teaching) gathered at the early hours of today in the School hall for the 2023 In-service Training (INSET)
The Independence Day celebration continued with speech presentations relating to independence by house representatives in the school such as Causes, Effects and Solutions to Brain Drain in Nigeria by Aqua House, Corruption in Nigeria - Who Takes the Blame? Leaders or the Followers? by Shekinah House, Nigeria at 62, the Pain and the Gain by Terra house, Cultural diversity in Nigeria - a Blessing or a Curse? by Tornado house. The valid points raised, stage presence and confidence displayed by these young chaps were exceptional.
The Directors - Mr. Toyin & Mrs. Funmi Ajayi, once again hosted all staff and students at the Christmas luncheon held in the school dining hall on 15th December, 2022. This year's programme which started with everyone raising their voices in singing, Hark the Herald Angels Sing; the work of a german composer - Felix Mendelssohn, featured talented staff members such as Ms Wuraola Onayo - a composer par excellence and Mr Oluwasegun Apara - our ace trumpeter.
The 2022 Christmas Concert which held on the 15th of December, 2022, and was themed Sing His Birth, was yet another breathtaking end-of-year event. The school chapel which sat parents and well-wishers was abuzz with excitement as the audience was treated to different colourful presentations ranging from the dazzling performance by the school's Salem orchestra, the electrifying carols of the school choir, the drama troupe's presentation to spoken word poetry by year 11 students, Okoli Chinaza and Bawo-Oteri Timeyin.
